Need some writing ideas? Write for a specific audience.
Each writer has a specific style that attracts a specific type of audience. As much as we would like to reach everyone, that is next to impossible. So, realistically speaking, we have to envision our target reader to create an effective article. This is also the reason why magazines, blogs, and websites are categorized into specific interest groups called niches. Writing for niches is a good system to follow especially if your intention is to earn from writing.
When you're writing for a specific audience, following must be considered:
the interest group (subject profile/ readers)
demographic market (age range, race, profession)
who would benefit
publication medium (print/ online)
Something as simple as seriously considering the type of readers for your article would create a great impact on the overall effect of your writing output. When we're out of ideas to write about, perhaps we're just thinking of too many things at once. Try to narrow down your thoughts on envisioning your audience first, then other ideas will soon come into play.
